ESD member Rhythima Shinde will be Country Coordinator for Switzerland at the 16th Conference of Youth - Global Affaris Unit
Rhythima Shinde has been offered a place in the team of the 16th United Nations Climate Change Conference of Youth (COY) as Country Coordinator for Switzerland for the COY16 Global Affairs Unit (GAU). This event will be held near the end of 2021 in Glasgow.
The external pageConference of Youth (COY)call_made is an annual international event where young change-makers and climate activists from all over the world assemble for a weekend of skills sharing, cultural exchange and networking. The United Nations Office of the Secretary-General Envoy on Youth officially supports the event, making the COY16 as the 16th UN Climate Change Conference of Youth.
Our ESD member Rhythima Shinde will give her contribution to the event and, as country coordinator, she will support in the pianification and mobilization of grassroots outreach and promote the COY aim and event.
Rhythima Shinde is a PhD student in the ESD group and she is working on a project about urban sustainability to reduce housing environmental footprint of Switzerland.
